Lecture Programme Lecture meetings are held at the Gatehouse Theatre, Eastgate Street, Stafford ST16 2LT. Directions to the Gatehouse Theatre Lectures are normally on the third Tuesday of the month. There are no meetings in August or December. Lecture sessions start at 1-45p.m. and end at approximately 3-15p.m. The Gatehouse has a good coffee bar/restaurant open to all. Lectures cover a wide range of subjects (click here for a Programme synopsis 2024-2025) and are delivered by experts from all over the country.
Visits Each year The Arts Society Stafford organises a number of visits during the summer months, supplimented, perhaps by a theatre visit during the autumn. Study Days Study Days offering a greater insight into a range of subjects are organised during the winter months. These are held in The Darwin Suite, World of Wedgewood, Barlaston, ST12 9ER. Society Luncheon Every other year, the society holds a luncheon with an entertaining lecture. In 2024 it was held at the Moat House, Acton Trussell, near Stafford. Membership The Arts Society Stafford has around 150 members, there will be no waiting list and new members will be welcomed throughout the year.
